Where BareRock began:
With IFAPROSURE, a successful specialist PI insurance brokerage, established a decade prior, our CEO Jonathan Newell recognised the pressing need for a groundbreaking shift as to how PI Insurance served forward-thinking financial intermediary firms. He harboured a daring ambition of reimagining the entire PII service offering from scratch.
Having been in the commercial insurance industry for nearly 30 years, Jonathan identified the profound need to promote better outcomes for both financial advisers, planners, and their end-clients alike. He witnessed significant changes in the landscape and recognised that it was time for PI Insurance to evolve, reflecting, and ultimately aligning with and rewarding how you conduct your business practice.
With deep industry insight gained over the years, Jonathan set out to fulfill his ambition of bringing meaningful change and a positive impact to the PII service offering for well-run financial intermediaries. Working with John Netting, a seasoned professional who founded one of the UK’s largest financial advice networks, and James Adley, a former Lloyd’s of London underwriting expert, they set to work on reimagining specialist PII from the ground up in a way that reflects, supports and empowers financial intermediaries.
